Thank you to all of our attendees, Chapter Patrons, speakers, event sponsors, volunteers, and guests for making the 2021 Annual Meeting a success! This year’s event featured a hybrid platform of virtual continuing education webinars and in-person networking events throughout the Carolinas. We’d like to share with you what happened at some of our in-person events.
As part of ASID Carolina’s 2021 Annual Meeting, designers met at ProSource Showroom for a brunch and tour. Sherry Masters, owner of Art Connections, gave a presentation on “Sourcing Art for Your Clients” and a walking tour of the River Arts District. Designers were introduced to several artists and learned about their process and work. The day ended with a break at Pleb Urban Winery.
What a beautiful evening hosted by High Point by Design (HPXD) and red egg. I cannot think of a more appropriate and welcoming setting than the red egg for our first in-person event, held in downtown High Point on opening day of our 2021 Annual Meeting.
The wrap around porch is well known for its hospitable vibe and gracious hostess Carol Gregg (aka Chief Hen). This was an opportunity to see old industry friends and make new ones. Our industry is starving for such opportunities. It was so nice to hear the buzz of conversation and laughter as we all mixed and mingled. A wonderful time had by all!
