2018 Interior Design Awards Gala
The 2018 Interior Design Awards Gala was held on Friday, April 20th at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel. The 33rd floor of the Loews provided spectacular views of the Philadelphia skyline and was the perfect backdrop for the celebration.
Guests celebrated the award recipients of this industry-wide design competition. Awards were presented for design excellence in commercial, residential and student categories. There were forty-four awards presented in 25 categories. The Best of IDA Awards were presented to the commercial and residential project with the highest overall average score from the IDA judges. Rohe Creative received the Best of IDAs - Commercial, for their restaurant project called Monkitail. The McMullin Design Group received the Best of IDAs - Residential, for their aging in place / universal design project called Aging Gracefully. The guest of honor for the evening was Mr. Mark Strauss, President Emeritus of Interior Design Magazine & Media and Senior Strategic Advisor for IWBI/WELL. The master of ceremonies was Mr. Mark Clement, host of MyFixitUpLife.
The 2018 IDA Committee worked many hours to ensure the success of the competition and gala. Thank you to all of the volunteers for their wonderful work.
