Corey Daigle, Pro Market Manager (NC, SC, and Southern VA) from The Tile Shop, will present a five-part presentation covering everything you need to know for a successful tile installation. This will be particularly helpful when working with sub-contractors as it will give you the ability to discern the difference between a quality or inferior tile job.

Topics that will be covered include:

• Preparation for the job and how to work with different substrates;
• Types of underlayment including cement board, multi-functioning reinforcing underlayment, uncoupling membrane and floor heat;
• Thinset: What is it?, proper coverage, specialty adhesives and other shop vocabulary; types of grout and caulking and which to use when; and care and maintenance including types of sealers, enhancing and cleaning of tile.
