Attention NC Interior Designers: A new interior designer's bill has been brought before the North Carolina Legislature and is running concurrently through the Senate (SB 188) and the House (HB 223). The bill will allow NC interior designers, through voluntary registration, to submit drawings for interior design portions of commercial projects. All interior designers and decorators in NC will be able to continue to provide the same professional services as they do today.
