As the Senior Architect Product Specialist at Vectorworks, Luis brings over 30 years of architectural expertise to showcase Vectorworks' capabilities to architects and designers worldwide. He leverages his knowledge of BIM, 3D modeling, rendering, and, most recently, AI in his role. Ruiz conducts webinars and live presentations, speaks at tradeshows, and supports Vectorworks distributors with local industry events and demonstrations, all while paving the way for product innovations and developments at Vectorworks.
Before joining Vectorworks, Ruiz worked as an architectural designer in New England and Mexico City. With his extensive experience, he has become a trusted resource for customers on a global scale. Luis earned a master’s degree in architecture from Universidad del Valle de Mexico. A pioneer in the industry since the early 90s, he has been using CAD software since the days of Claris CAD, Architron, and MiniCAD 3.
