If you are reading this message, I am likely “preaching to the choir.” You do value your membership in ASID and demonstrate that value through paying your dues and participating in our many events. The obvious benefit of ASID membership is the privilege of recognition through using the appellation after your name and the value of the relationships you develop (see my December, 2019, Message from the President). 

But, what are other benefits that are available through your continued support of ASID as a professional organization? As an ASID member, you receive the monthly publication of ICON. The magazine publishes a wide variety of short, well-written articles on topics across a broad range of interests. Most likely, in each issue, with a close look at the content, you will find at least one article relevant for your interests and professional needs.
